FAQ

  • What makes us different from other organizations?

I am a veterinarian with parents who emigrated from Ukraine. I still have lots of family members, friends and connections in the field there. My goal was to make an organization where 100% of the proceeds are allocated to provide aid for each of the different projects.

  • How do the funds get appropriated?

Each project will have set goals and allocation of all the funds raised. This will include medications, veterinary supplies, transportation, etc. All efforts are undertaken to ensure that demand is met and funding is prioritized appropriately.

  • Why did you start this organization?

Being of Ukrainian ancestry and having family members on Ukrainian soil during the invasion in 2021 was horrifying and heartbreaking. However, the acts of courage and perseverance shown by the people proved the immense impact one’s actions can have, especially during times of despair and horror. I wanted to contribute as much as I could to the efforts in a way that I could make the most difference. This is why I have created AidfurU; to organize and fund projects on the ground that can provide help for the animals and humans impacted by war.

  • How do we choose our projects?

The goal is to provide meaningful support on the ground to help make a tangible difference in the lives of humans and their animals in Ukraine. This includes shelters, outreach projects, and rescue missions on the front lines. This also means that the funding is meticulously screened and tracked to ensure 100% of the money earned is used to provide aid.

  • What percentage of my donation will go towards each project?

This organization puts 100% of the proceeds towards each and every project.

  • Is collaboration for future projects possible?

If you are part of a veterinary organization in Ukraine and would like to collaborate, we would love to work together. However, we have strict parameters on selecting ur projects, to ensure that all money is allocated appropriately. You can contact us to discuss possible collaboration
